Financial Support for the “Great Eastern Japan Earthquake” from GKN

GKN Driveline and its employees were shocked by the earthquake of 11th March. In response the company and its employees throughout the world have been raising money to support those affected.

GKN (Headquartered in the UK) is contributing US$250,000 (21,002,500 JPY). The donation is being made through the Shimotsuke Shimbun (Utsunomiya-city, Tochigi-prefecture) on 18th April.

At the same time employees of GKN Driveline in Japan (Head Office: 1150 Daikoji-machi, Tochigi-city, Tochigi-prefecture), are donating 1,260,271 Japanese yen.( JPY931,757 through the Shimotsuke Newspaper company and JPY328,514 through Nagoya City Council of Social Welfare).

Currently, GKN employees throughout the world are also raising money which will be added to these donations.

The thoughts of GKN and its employees are with all who have suffered in this natural disaster.
